Job Purpose:

  • The position is to fulfil a need within the Core compliance development team

Job Background/Context:

  • Compliance Technology - this position in Pune will be part of web-based application development team utilizing Actimize (RCM) product for building and managing the CitiScreening Workflow application.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Responsible for interacting with the business, technology teams, partner systems and CitiScreening applications (Screening, Workflow, Watch-List Manager and Reporting) in understanding business functionality/requirements

  • Capable of knowledge gathering/reverse engineering existing functionality of application platforms through interaction with users and technical teams

  • Effectively documenting functionality and requirements for use by technology teams

  • Communicating functionality and requirements effectively to development teams

  • Lead/support functional design preparation and review with technology teams

  • Assist testing teams in preparation and reviews of functional test scenarios

  • Provides all required status updates to project team, users, and various levels of management as appropriate

  • Ensures full adherence to the Citi QA process and documentations.

Person Specification:

Knowledge/Experience:

  • 10+ years of experience in the industry

  • Minimum of 6 years of experience as a business analyst in a financial services company (preferably in AML domain)

  • AML and risk functional knowledge a significant plus

  • Must have extensive experience in Microsoft tools, i.e., Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Visio and SharePoint

  • Experience with SDLC methodologies and structured systems analysis and design

  • Excellent documentation skills in preparing business requirement, functional specs/design, use case and functional flow documents

  • Exceptional communication, negotiation, influencing and persuasion skills

  • Ability to multitask and prioritize in a challenging, fast-paced, dynamic environment

  • The candidate must possess excellent communication skills as they will be interacting with people with diverse skills and seniority across different locations and time zones

  • The candidate should have strong analytical skills

  • The candidate should be capable of multi-tasking and balancing tasks with priorities

  • The candidate must have working experience as a business analyst in financial services company (preferably in AML domain)

  • The job may require overlap with US counterpart for few hours
