The Universal Outlook team builds the in-box Mail and Calendar apps that ship with Windows and Windows Phone. With over 70 million monthly active users through all service providers (Gmail, Yahoo, Hotmail, Office365, etc.) it is both a big responsibility and huge opportunity.

We are looking for a phenomenal Program Manager to work collaboratively across Outlook, Windows, and O365 to develop comprehensive strategy and execution to earn the next level of growth, engagement, and revenue through: new scenarios, better partnership, and seamless experiences across our offerings in Outlook, Office, Windows, Edge, and Bing. We need someone who brings a strong track record of user experience design and execution of shipping products AND an ambitious growth-oriented product owner.

Key Responsibilities:

•Work with partners and internal stakeholders to define the strategy, roadmap, schedule and implementation across a portfolio of investments for our growth and monetization goals

•Deliver balanced approach that is ambitious, appropriate, and achievable help us reach our goals

•Focus on understanding our customers to identify key insights find needs and opportunities to optimize growth and usage while we experiment with new ways to engage or upsell users to various offerings

•Lead and execute throughout the entire iterative process from research, concept evaluation, design and specing, implementation and flighting, and definition and ongoing impact measurement

•Run multiple feature teams across multiple areas, including tight timelines and long-term planning for both highly customer-facing areas and internal partnership requirements

The ideal candidate will have the following skills and experience:

•7+ years of experience in product or program management

•Deep passion for customers, design thinking, and technology

•Great communication and cross-team collaboration skills

•Proven experience developing and leading vision and strategy in an organization

•Work cross-functionally across partners including: data science, business and finance, marketing, research, design, and engineering

•Deals well with ambiguity, strong decision-making, conflict resolution, negotiation skills, and follow through

Ability to meet Microsoft, customer and/or government security screening requirements are required for this role. These requirements include, but are not limited to the following specialized security screenings:

•Microsoft Cloud Background Check: This position will be required to pass the Microsoft Cloud background check upon hire/transfer and every two years thereafter.
