Job Description

SOSi is seeking a highly qualified Basic Subject Matter Expert (SME). The candidate must be a recognized industry expert with depth and breadth of knowledge capable of providing advisor and consultant services based on experience that has a unique, specific level of technical value.

Minimum Requirements

  • Security Clearance requirements: TS, TS/SCI, S
  • 15 years’ experience in the subject
  • Must be capable of supporting teams complex technical or programmatic issues

Additional Information

Technical proficiencies (desired)

  • Familiarity with one/more BMDS technical and operational attributes

  • Sensor systems, interceptor systems, Battle Management Command and Control (BMC2) systems

  • Familiarity with design/development/operational constraints facing ballistic and space systems
  • Familiarity with requirements, design, development, testing, fielding and operations/sustainment of complex systems and “systems of systems” capabilities

  • Ability to support a wide-array of specialized assessments and evaluations

  • CYBER expertise for developmental and operational systems is desired
