  • Analyze, design, program, debug, and modify complex software enhancement features and/or new software products

  • Perform code reviews, assist with refactoring, and provide guidance and mentoring to other development engineers

  • Debug and fix software, including difficult issues using a broad knowledge of technologies

  • Contribute to the JAD session discussion and influence business/technical stakeholders

  • Foster Agile principles and methods

  • Participate in the sprint grooming and planning sessions

  • Create and manage API and Web Service libraries

  • Author and maintain technical white paper

  • Protect company proprietary and confidential information


  • Bachelor Degree or equivalent experience required

  • 5+ years of industry software development work experience required, prefer 7+ 2+ years of experience in a true Agile / Scrum environment where Test Driven Development (TDD) and similar “test first” techniques and methods are employed is highly desired

  • Experience creating RESTful web services using Microsoft .NET C#, ASP.NET Web API, and Entity Framework

  • JavaScript frameworks such asAngularJS, node.js or express.jsare very good to have, but not required

  • Experience with WCF and/or SOAP web services is a plus

  • Experience in HTML, CSS, ASP.NET MVC is a plus

  • Solid understanding object-oriented development concepts and practices, including separation of concerns, inversion of control, and unit testing

  • Strong debugging skills

  • Experience with Visual Studio 2013 or greater and TFS source control

  • Familiar with SDLC functional disciplines: design, development, QA, etc.

  • Strong database skills, including TSQL and stored procedures

  • Ability to work on problems of significant scope independently and to contribute effectively as a member of a team

  • Ability to participate actively in meetings, manage time effectively, assess and mitigate risks

  • Ability to communicate clearly on a business and technical level

  • Ability to compose technical specification and publish API/Web service white paper

  • Must be a team player
