SOS International LLC (SOSi)is seeking a highly qualified Contract Technical Lead capable of providing technical leadership, direction, and management support for Engineering and Advanced Technology. Candidate must possess extensive managerial and technical experience and business knowledge relating to major systems or programs for the DoD or an equivalent entity. Candidate will also be responsible for the overall technical contract performance.


•Top Secret (TS) clearance required

•Bachelor’s degree minimum, Masters in Engineering or Science desired

•10 years technical management/lead experience required; 15 years desired

•Must be proficient in technical standards, principles, practices, and processes related to complex missile defense weapon system

•Proven ability to lead and provide direct technical input for solving complex issues involving technical staff and resources of sizable magnitude

•Must be capable of thinking strategically to address technical issues and implement plans for major operational defense program

•Familiarity with operating at technical, managerial, and executive levels is highly desire

•Experience with operating in politically-charged, sensitive and complex DOD/Joint/Service program environments is highly desire

•Prior experience working with Missile Defense Agency is highly desirable

•Must be able to assume Contract Program Manager’s duties when necessary



•Experience with info exchange systems and procedures that protect critical/sensitive unclassified information

•Demonstrated familiarity/expertise with one/more BMDS technical and operational attributes

- Sensor systems, interceptor systems, Battle Management Command and Control (BMC2) systems

- Expertise across all BMDS systems/elements is highly desired

•Familiarity/expertise with design/development/operational constraints facing ballistic and space systems

•Demonstrated familiarity/expertise with requirements, design, development, testing, fielding and operations/sustainment

of complex systems and “systems of systems” capabilities

•Expertise across the full range of life-cycle systems engineering activities above is highly desired

•Expertise with complex systems TEST readiness (with an emphasis on ballistic missile and space systems) is highly desired

•Demonstrated ability to support a wide-array of specialized assessments and evaluations

•CYBER expertise for developmental and operational systems is highly desired
