Robert Half Finance & Accounting Client Services Representative in RICHMOND, Virginia

The customer service representative interacts, builds, and maintains customer relationships in a professional and courteous manner and provides pricing and technical information relating to products and services. Successful candidates will have prior government procurement experience. This role provides solutions that demonstrate our brand promise, our full capabilities, and our focus on customer satisfaction.

  • Competent in all Customer Service functions especially processing customer quotes, orders, and other requests in a timely manner.

  • Communicate in a clear and professional manner to help solve customer problems via telephone, email, in-person, or fax

  • Technical competency regarding products, services, related industries and applications. This includes recognizing complementary products, accessory parts, etc.

  • Review, interpret, and execute nuclear, safety related orders, product submittals, RFPs, and contracts related to Federal Acquisition Regulations (FAR) and Defense Federal Acquisition Regulations (DFAR) to ensure compliance

  • Review certification packages to ensure proper traceability of product components.

  • Ensure timely delivery of product to customer by communicating customer expectations with Purchasing and Warehouse personnel

  • Interact with factory and sales people on customer's behalf

  • Expedite orders, returns, and requests for technical information when appropriate

  • Help resolve customer complaints/concerns

  • Manage time effectively and participate in projects outside Customer Service department

  • Demonstrate creative thinking when approaching challenges

  • Understand corporate initiatives and strategic efforts

  • Direct requests and elevate unresolved issues to the proper resource
