Alpine Bank Application Support Administrator - COP's-IT * FT (05/18/17) in Rifle, Colorado

The Alpine Bank IT Department is looking for a full time Application SupportAdmin at our Rifle location, to assist in supporting several applicationareas. Work days are Monday thru Friday 8:00am to 5:00pm.The ideal candidate will cross train with our current Application SupportAdministrators to provide support and coverage for our In House and On-lineNew Account Software, as well as other product areas. Duties will include,but are not limited to, installing, configuring, testing, monitoringand troubleshooting software. They will be responsible for the applicationsecurity process, user setup, role privilege definition, assignment andsecurity permissions and overseeing the installation and/or upgrade ofsoftware package releases. Works with the infrastructure team on serveroperations system updates and patches along with server troubleshooting.Researches information for system requirements on upgrades and futurereleases. Gives input on plans for future directions and platforms for systemhardware to coincide with the long-term priorities, goals and needs of theorganization and other duties as assigned.This position may require some off-site training, semi-annual disasterrecovery testing and occasional application updates on weekends or evenings.Will require working closely with other Application Support Administrators,the entire IT department, multiple outside departments, Alpineemployee s and software vendors. This position will evaluate,prioritize, manage and test newly incorporated features/enhancements withvarious departments as needed. Will prepare and execute testing and datavalidation of new development and enhancements. Will work closely with thevendor s support personnel to resolve issues in a timely and professionalmanner. Be responsible for maintenance and support of interfaces into otherapplications as necessary and be responsible for release upgrades and patchinstallation for assigned systems to keep all systems up-to-date.To succeed in this position, the Application Support Admin will need to makedecisions without constant supervision and have critical thinking skills. Thisindividual will be detail orientated and be able to multi-task. He/sheshould be able to prioritize tasks in the most time effective manner, havestrong oral and written communication skills. It is anticipated thisindividual will be tech savvy and willing and able to learn administrativefunctions for various applications. Must exhibit strong teamwork ethics, beactive in department and bank functions, help with projects, and exhibit apositive attitude.
