Reporting to the Business Development Manager, the Senior Retail Customer Analyst is responsible for the collection, analysis, and reporting of sales related data in an on-going effort to increase overall sales and margin productivity
The Senior Retail Customer Analyst will develop and/or maintain standardized and customized reports that are critical to enhance the understanding of the business while improving decision making
He/She must provide sales analysis and recommendations to support the internal & external needs with accurate data integrity.
Collect, analyze, interpret and report sales performance data in order to increase sales productivity
Track brand sales data and trends to effectively measure against individual business unit sales quotas
Conduct quantitative analysis of POS performance, cannibalization, forecasting, ROI in order to identify opportunities and risks
Assist NAM in developing, reviewing, tracking brand marketing budgets and events to maximize sales performance while returning a positive ROI
Provide necessary analysis and information for guidance on short and long range forecast projections
Communicate sales reporting for all sales channels to key business units in order to support informed business decisions by providing in-depth analysis and recommendations
Generate ad hoc and standardized reporting for Sales Development, Brand Marketing, Finance and Production Planning
Bachelor's degree required
2-4 years in related position or field
Ability to build and maintain complex computer application and programs to perform analysis, organize data and create reports from multiple sources
Ability to capture and document business and reporting requirements from multiple sources
Strong communication skills, both written and verbal, with the ability to convey the information to a broad audience
Strong interpersonal skills with the ability to work independently and within a team environment
Excellent group presentation skills
Strong knowledge of Retail Link, Advanced Microsoft Excel, Access and PowerPoint skills and other data management tools
Intermediate understanding on Nielsen/IRI and Panel Data, Loyalty Card Data, CPFR
