Salvation Army Grants & Major Gifts Manager in Roseville, Minnesota
To secure corporate, foundation, and major gift funding for Salvation Army programs. The Grants & Major Gifts Manager is responsible for producing proposals and securing major gifts to successfully pursue fundraising efforts including general operating, project, capital campaigns, annual (kettle) campaigns, and event sponsorship solicitations. Responsibilities 1. Oversee and participate in the research of private support and identification of possible individual, corporate and foundation funding sources. 2. Develop and submit grant proposals to foundations and corporations. 3. Cultivation of existing donors and identify new donors to increase major gift funding Major gift emphasis on corporate leadership, individuals with donor advised funds, and trustees of family foundations. 4. Meet regularly with corporate giving and foundation staff to enhance relationships and increase partnership opportunities. 5. Prepare and submit reports to funders as needed. 6. Work with Salvation Army Officers (clergy) and managers to develop and maintain program descriptions, and budgets, and track program outcomes. 7. Work with the Corporate & Foundation Relations Director to solicit sponsorship and execute capital campaigns. 8. Oversee and participate in the tracking and reporting on grants and donor management and related administrative responsibilities. 9. Responsible for compiling and submitting required statistics, reports and budget information as requested. 10. Maintain positive work atmosphere by behaving and communicating in a manner that fosters good relationships with co-workers and supervisors.
