Large Project Executive - Sr Project Manager - Energy Solutions Team - Remote - Virtual (147595) RESPONSIBILITY LEVEL: Under general direction, manages the overall performance of Johnson Control's Energy Savings Performance Contracting Federal projects involving multiple sites, typically $25M or greater. Organizes the program development effort, development of the management plan and monitoring progress against the plan. Identifies actions required to be taken in the event of deviation from the plan. Adheres to Johnson Controls standardized procedures and processes. Represents Johnson Controls and its interests to exceed customer satisfaction. Responsible for the overall safety program compliance. Location: Remote-Virtual (work from home). Must be able to travel up to 50%. Benefits: Eligible for health and retirement benefits on first day of employment. PRINCIPAL DUTIES: 1. Primary leadership for the overall program and associated Project Delivery Teams. 2. Works with Project Sponsors, Business Development, Project Development and Project Delivery Teams to identify and deliver program objectives. 3. Overall responsibility for Program Management Plan. 4. Responsible to be forward thinking, alert, and reactive to business practices rendering poor or damaging results (i.e. inadequate schedules, delinquent-inappropriate buy-out, submittal approval, invoice approval, manpower, etc.) 5. Manages risks and works with Project Delivery Teams to establish project recovery plans. 6. Mentors project team and assess training needs to benefit future project leaders. 7. Responsible for the accurate and timely reporting of assigned projects via operational and financial systems reporting. 8. Makes presentations to Executive Management on current and forecasted performance. 9. Evaluates and reviews overall subcontracting strategies. 10. Maintains relationships with the Principals of the major subcontractors. 11. Oversees monthly performance evaluations of strategic programs and provides reports to management. 12. Overall responsibility for the scope management (planning, definition, verification, change control) process. 13. Responsible for coordination with Corporate and Region level Installation Managers for allocating resources to meet program objectives. 14. Responsible for overall program asset management including collections, cost control, progress billings and payables. 15. Ensures project document controls are in compliance with contract requirements. 16.
