OfficeTeam is partnering with an innovative education tech company to find their first administrative assistant! They are looking for an individual dedicated to the success and future growth of the company. Ideally, the selected candidate has outstanding customer service skills, strong written and verbal communication skills, and proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, and Outlook). RESPONSIBILITIES:

  • Answer, screen, and direct incoming calls, as well as handle all telephone inquiries and guest relations

  • Maintain office calendar and all scheduling requests

  • Total office management and coordination

  • On-boarding, training, and supervising other support staff

  • Customer relations between departments and executive staff

  • Prepare online expense reports and assist with invoices as needed

  • Order, check in and maintain office and kitchen supplies

  • Coordinate and set-up meetings

  • File, copy and provide other administrative/clerical support

  • Responsible for updating company/client roster in Microsoft Excel

  • Ordering lunch and supplies as needed for office

  • Coordinate office events (catered meetings, lunches, birthday celebrations, team bonding activities, happy hours, etc…)

  • Support HR with maintaining employee files and HR databases

  • Assist with general office maintenance (keep front office presentable)

  • Facilities assistance as needed

  • 1+ years of Office or Administrative Assistant experience

  • BS/BA Degree preferred

  • Strong computer proficiency in Microsoft Word, Microsoft Excel, Microsoft PowerPoint, and Microsoft Access, Google Apps, Adobe Acrobat, and Social Media web platforms. (SalesForce is a plus)

  • Demonstrates ability to achieve high performance goals and meet deadlines in a fast paced environment

  • Able to quickly learn new tools and technologies

  • Interest and experience in using technology to improve work efficiency

  • Able to work independently and willing to perform a variety of tasks

  • Internet research
