The Hyperion Financial Management (HFM) Administrator will support the administration of the global HFM application including future upgrades/enhancements. The HFM Administrator will also be responsible for Oracle EBS (through FDMEE) and Hyperion Smartview touchpoints and integration. The HFM Administrator will be responsible for validating that Gap Inc. Global consolidation process runs successfully and without errors.

  • The point person is a credible representative to the Corporate Controller’s Group leadership as it relates to the Gap Inc. global consolidation process.

  • Will also work with cross functional teams including IT to ensure data movements into the tool and extracts out of the tool flow as scheduled and any required changes are incorporated.

  • Maintain key processes used to support the consolidation and financial reporting within HFM that will include but not limited to - validations/maintenance of Cumulative Translation Adjustment (CTA), intercompany eliminations, allocations, retained earning roll-forward

  • Maintain schedule of consolidation end to end process – data load, consolidation, extracts

  • HFM Administrator will co-own creation, maintenance and updates of financial reports and forms

  • Perform training and end-user education of the system functionality as needed

  • Maintain HFM applications across all active environments (Production, Test and Development)

  • Top level entries in HFM, as needed

  • Troubleshoot end user issues

  • Will be involved in Projects


  • Good understanding of Financial Consolidation and Reporting systems

  • Proficient in smart view and excel functionalities

  • Strong communication skills – written and verbal

  • Strong problem solving skills, including ability to effectively address any issue in collaboration with others as appropriate; ability to proactively identify and prevent potential problems

  • A minimum of three (3) years of hands on Hyperion Financial Management (HFM) experience

  • Bachelor’s degree or foreign equivalent required from an accredited institution.

  • End to end implementation experience in HFM is a plus

  • Knowledge of DRM is a plus

  • Knowledge of FCM is a plus

  • Knowledge of Oracle General Ledger is a plus
