The Marketing Analyst is responsible for the support of DRTV media reporting, analysis, and optimization for Comcast Ventures' Portfolio companies. We are looking for an extremely analytical, data-driven individual. This individual will report to the Head of CV Accelerate. The role is responsible for media reporting, analysis, ad trafficking, planning, as well as operations of DRTV campaign execution. The optimal candidate has prior experience with direct marketing analysis across both online and offline channels.

Key Responsibilities

-Help manage day to day execution and management of DRTV campaigns for Accelerate participants.

-Partner closely on media strategy and execution across Comcast & NBC Universal owned inventory to launch and optimize participant campaigns

-Analyze and interpret extensive performance data to help refine strategies, channel performance and optimize all media buys to achieve efficiency goals

-Assist with the development of strategy, and oversee all execution, growth, performance measurement and attribution

-Lead processes for effective support operations such as: PO setup, account payable tracking/auditing, legal statement of work compliance and international accrual processes working with internal parties to ensure proper and timely payment of invoices and reporting.

Core Responsibilities

-Develops and distributes Marketing campaigns, new advertising products, and promotional programs targeted at specific market segments.

-Researches buyers' priorities and preferences in selected channels to customize marketing and promotional programs.

-Develops presentations and pitches. Ensures that the program has adequate materials and information to communicate the benefits and features of specific products and programs.

-Lead weekly calls to program participants to help with marketing campaigns, and if necessary, makes modifications to particular marketing programs.

-Demonstrates clear expertise and in-depth working knowledge of all areas of the function.

-Consistent exercise of independent judgment and discretion in matters of significance.

-Regular, consistent and punctual attendance. Must be able to work nights and weekends, variable schedule(s) as necessary.

-Other duties and responsibilities as assigned

Required Skills

-Excellent analytical skills with an ability to interpret internal and external performance data in an ROI driven business

-A passion for testing and measuring results

-Understanding of website optimization for campaign performance (email capture, lifecycle marketing, CTAs, etc)

-Proven ability to convert customers online using offline channels

-Familiarity with TV attribution methodologies and tools a plus

-Desire to immerse yourself and learn about offline/online marketing best practices, skills and performance based marketing

-Comfortable working in a fast-paced, unstructured environment

-Excellent project management skills

-Be self-motivated and able to execute on new ideas, start to finish, with appropriate partners and feedback from peers/executives

-Passion and enthusiasm in everything you do. Be hungry to solve problems and learn.

-Proficiency in SQL or related querying language (a plus)

-Direct Mail experience (a plus)

Education Level - Bachelors Degree or Equivalent

Field of Study - Marketing, Communications / Public Relations

Years Experience

-Generally requires 2-5 years related experience

-Experience in a direct marketing related role, preferably with both online and offline channel experience preferred
