FM Global Client Processing Associate in San Pedro, Montenegro

As a member of the Client Servicing Team, this position is accountable for capturing and managing prospect/client locations (business interests), values and engineering servicing data in compliance with corporate and country specific requirements. This includes entering and reconciling information in various FM Global systems that is used by others to make underwriting and engineering decisions; requesting location engineering inspections; assisting with the tracking of risk improvement recommendations; issuing risk reports, and delivering outstanding service to clients and brokers in coordination with the Account Engineers and other team members.

This is the first of three levels within the Client Processing Associate (CPA) job family requiring supervision during the training period with work verified followed by general supervision and some direction. Incumbent handles small to mid-size worldwide insurance programs with increasing complexity.

  • Under the supervision of a more experienced Client Processing Associate and/or the Client Processing Manager, acquires the knowledge and skills required to handle accounts independently with training provided on: the company and its products and related services; the business processes and procedures, data collection and entry requirements that impact downstream systems, and Client Servicing Team expectations, etc.

  • Interacts with various disciplines - New Business Executive, Account Engineer, Account Manager and/or Underwriter - to validate and process all prospect/client business interest data such as organizational structure, addresses, values, geographical facts, flood information, risk status, occupancy type, exchange rates, etc. in compliance with corporate and country specific requirements. This includes but is not limited to: a. formatting client value spreadsheets for compatibility within FM Global applications using Excel; b. researching and validating addresses using various address tools to maintain and improve data integrity, and c. entering and updating client data for new prospects, renewals, and interim or anniversary adjustments into client servicing and engineering systems.

  • Requests and maintains engineering servicing for locations requiring inspections to ensure timely delivery of products and services to new and existing clients.

  • Supports corporate, operation and account level risk improvement objectives by assisting the Account Engineers with tracking and updating risk improvement recommendations, verifying that risk reports are configured correctly to meet client needs, and transmitting completed risk reports to clients.

  • Provides guidance and technical assistance to the Client Servicing Teams on the current processing requirements and liaises with internal offices worldwide to deliver accurate and timely service on accounts and to achieve company and operational objectives. Develops diverse knowledge of all protocols related to global products and services.

  • Responds to internal and external customer inquiries and/or directs to appropriate personnel within established time frames. Provides backup coverage for inquiries during an Account Engineer’s or coworker’s absence.

  • Maintains organizational, contact and document distribution information for assigned accounts.

  • Generates and utilizes company canned reports to provide information to internal/external customers.

  • Gathers and coordinates materials needed by the Account Engineers for meetings and account reviews.

  • May provide account engineering support on special assignments outside of the scope of the standard CPA accountabilities.

EDUCATION: High School Diploma or local equivalent

EXPERIENCE: Minimum 1+ years work experience in an office environment, preferably in an insurance or related work environment.
