Job Summary

The AOS Publishing Systems Engineering Team is looking for an exceptional individual to join the team as the Content Development Manager responsible for driving initiatives for the Apple Online and Mobile Stores. In this position, you'll manage the Content Development team to develop and maintain data assets for all Online Store data dependent projects, be the key interface from Engineering teams to Digital Content Management team, and support New Product Introduction corporate wide initiatives.

Key Qualifications

  • 5+ years of experience in designing, implementing and supporting highly scalable software applications, preferably on eCommerce applications.

  • 3+ years in building, developing and managing highly effective software engineering teams.

  • Experience in Content Management Systems (CMS) and Product Information Management Systems for multi-channel eCommerce Platforms (Mobile, Tablet, Desktop, etc.).

  • Knowledge of website design and construction and principles of usability - SQL,HTML/CSS/JavaScript 

  • Experience with data analytics/metrics, data models, business process modeling, and KPIs.

  • Proven ability to grasp complexity quickly and adapt to change seamlessly while delivering project on-time

  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills.Description

We’re seeking a Content Development Manager with a strong technical understanding of eCommerce Content Management Systems (CMS), Product Information Management Systems. You will:

▪Work with cross-functional stakeholders (business, DCM, operation, engineering) to define, scope, setup and maintain well-organized and structured content and product data for Retail (AOS, ASA) Engineering projects.

▪Act as subject matter expert for appropriate content and product related enquiries.

▪Work closely with Content and Product Systems engineering teams on Publishing Systems initiatives and be the advocate and champion for the new tools and workflows.

▪Drive process enhancement to automate and streamline Content Development process via data and workflow analysis.

▪Define and lead the strategic technical roadmap for the team.

▪Provide leadership for the team, and help your organization operate efficiently and reach its full potential.

▪Comfortable working in a fast-paced environment, have a “can-do” attitude, work well in a cross-functional environment, adapt and collaborate well, and lead from the trenches.

Education

Bachelors degree in Computer Science, Information Management, or other related engineering discipline.
