Kforce Business Systems Analyst - Supply Chain in Seattle, Washington

A Kforce client is seeking a Business Systems Analyst to join our team in Seattle, WA. One of the main roles for this position is to support enhancements to current ERP systems applications which include Oracle, WMS, LIMS, Clear Orbit and implement new expanded Supply Chain Applications (OTM, WMS, PIM). In addition, this role will also collaborate with various project teams on test scripts and documentation. To be successful in this position you should bring to the table excellent communications skills, ability to listen to and capture end user requirements, and demonstrate project management skills while meeting multiple deadlines.Essential Duties and Responsibilities:

  • Participate in every aspect of the assigned project, including technical, functional and database administration

  • Assist in the planning and implementation of in-house and vendor assisted software upgrades, conversions and release testing to ensure system and data integrity

  • Using accepted testing methodology and facilities, demonstrate prescribed application functionality within established time periods and process logic

  • Interact with requester/user during discovery, justification, design, development, testing and the ongoing operation of all new/upgraded integrated systems applications to ensure product quality, efficiency, user satisfaction and ownership

  • Interact with IT Development Team in defining and testing new report requirements using knowledge of application and table structure

  • Create testing scenarios and document results

  • Maintain up-to-date knowledge of application "best practices", methods and techniques

  • Participate in the development of curriculum, user education and training on each Enterprise application

  • Assist during application setup and help in problem solving and issue resolution

  • College degree in Business Administration, Engineering, or Computer Science/Mathematics desirable

  • 4 to 7 years' experience as a systems business analyst with supporting operational business applications

  • Prefer 4 years overall experience in a functional and/or technical role

  • At least 2 years of experience supporting, analysis, development, and troubleshooting SQL and relational databases

  • Documentation and training Lead

  • Strong written and verbal communication skills

  • Able to embrace and support "team-building" concepts

  • Strong knowledge in Oracle modules (WMS, OM, OTM, PIM)

  • Ability and desire to learn new applications & processes, flexibility to adopt new, changed, improves processes

  • Positive client service skills, based on real experience

  • Training and/or practical experience in supply chain applications plus (OTM, WMS, PIM, etc.)

  • Experience with application setup and configuration for all the above systems

  • Demonstrated ability to communicate conceptual ideas clearly and effectively

  • Excellent analytical, written and oral communication and skills

  • Demonstrate essential project management and leadership skills
