The Clinic Infusion Nurse is a licensed practitioner who uses the nursing process to provide patient care. This includes exercising independent nursing judgment in managing the care of patients with complex health problem(s) and collaborating with patient, family and other healthcare providers/disciplines to optimize the patient’s return to health and promote independence in self-care.
- Graduate of accredited school of nursing. BSN preferred.
Licensure, Registration, Certification
A current Registered Nurse License for the State of Washington is required.
CPR certification required.
Current or pending oncology certification required.
Excellent clinical skills, ability to start, administer and monitor infusion therapy.
Able to demonstrate the knowledge and skills necessary to provide care appropriate to the age of the patients served on assigned unit/department.
- Minimum of 2 years experience in infusion therapy is preferred.
