What will you be doing?
Although every day might be a little different, your routing duties include:
- Provide medical care to clients with developmental disabilities.
- Examine patients annually, upon admission, discharge for physical and mental illness.
- Make regular rounds on units to perform physical examinations.
- Diagnose and review health of clients.
- Administer medical treatment for acute and chronic medical problems.
- Refer clients who require specific diagnostic services to a medical specialist at the RHC, to another medical facility or hospital.
- Order and analyze x-rays, other diagnostic studies, and laboratory tests.
- Prescribe medication and recommend therapy as indicated.
- Assist with investigations and administrative reviews. Qualifications
Who we are looking for:
Applicants who have a Washington State license to practice as an Advanced Registered Nurse Practitioner (ARNP) and a Master's degree in a related field as well as one year of experience in the medical field.
We would like to hire someone who is willing and ready to interact with patients who have behavioral, emotional, psychiatric, social, medical, and/or correctional problems, and who may exhibit inappropriate non-compliant and/or aggressive behavior.
Salary and other information
Salary for this position: Competitive base salary to $100,704 (DOQ) annually
The Core Hours are 8:00 am - 4:30 pm Monday through Friday with Saturday and Sunday as regularly scheduled days off.
