          CentraCare Patient Access Representative in St. Cloud Minnesota United States

          Patient Access Representative
          Department: Patient Access - HSCH
          Schedule: Part-time
          Shift: Evening shift
          Hours: 26-30 hrs/pay period

          Job Details:

          Anticipated Schedule: 3:30-8:30pm; 1 weekend/month; rotating holidays

          Performs registration duties requiring independent analysis, exercise of judgment and detailed knowledge of department and hospital procedures related to work performed. Responsible for obtaining and identifying information necessary to produce billable patient accounts. Implements and abides by Customer Service Standards. Supports and implements patient safety and other safety practices as appropriate. Supports and demonstrates Family Centered Care principles when interacting with patients and their families and with co-workers.

          EDUCATION

          High school diploma or equivalent required. Medical terminology preferred. One year post high school training in clerical, secretarial, or business area preferred.

          EXPERIENCE

          Minimum of one year general or medical office experience with working knowledge of office procedures, office machines, and computer systems. Good customer service skills are essential. Good verbal and written communications skills required.
