The global Food Retail portal is a critical component of our insights offering, and a key driver of retain, grow and gain, providing field associates and customers access to insights to manage their Food Retail program. The Portal is built upon Platform and is leveraged across the Specialty and Services Sector. The position leads the business analysis effort to capture, clarify and manage business system requirements for the Salesforce environment. This role identifies, documents, and validates business system requirements used by the technical team to provide functionality necessary to meet business requirements. The Salesforce development team includes both on and offshore resources. This position is responsible for meeting with the offshore development team to walk through stories, requirements and provide guidance throughout development. This role will be the key conduit between the Onshore project team and offshore resources. Main Responsibilities: Collaboration and alignment with existing technical architecture and design with technical team members Maintenance and enhancing of feature and functional documentation in JIRA Confluence Managing user story agile process flow for specified user stories Escalation and Risk Management within the onshore/offshore team process Formulates and defines system requirements based on both user needs and a thorough understanding of business systems and industry requirements. Devises or modifies procedures to solve complex problems considering computer equipment capacity and limitations, operation time and form of desired results Completes analysis of business and user needs, documentation of requirements and translations into proper system requirement specifications. Possesses full technical knowledge of most phases of systems analysis, and considers the business implications of the application technology to the current and future business environment Partners with offshore development team to communicate all user stories and requirements and provide daily guidance Demonstrates all functionality to onshore project team, obtains feedback to be communicated back to developers Provide data/business analysis support to the Salesforce team Lead/facilitate meetings with business and technical resources Prepare presentations both containing business and/or technical topics Quality assurance and testing - test, verify, and document results for data warehouse or complex data base solutions (ETL, reports, dashboards, and portal integration Basic Qualifications: 8+ years of experience working in an IT environment 5+ years' experience working as a business or data analyst 1+ years' experience with Agile or iterative development methodologies Bachelor's Degree in technical or analytic area or equivalent job experience Preferred Qualifications: 2+ Years experience with Platform 1+ Years experience with Portal or Communities Salesforce functionality Strong problem-solving, analytic, conceptual and critical thinking skills Basic data modeling experience Excellent verbal and written
