Responsible for the preparation of food for Room Service, assembling meal trays according to diet order and delivering meal trays to patients and guests. Correctly assembles patient trays according to current diet order and patient selection. Ensures all dates of prepacked foods are checked and dates are good before placing them on food tray. Gathers established amounts of fresh food based on par levels and prepares them for Room Service. Ensures all food products used are within date. Correctly assembles patient trays according to current diet order and patient selection. Ensures all dates of prepacked foods are checked and dates are good before placing them on food tray. Delivers trays within 45 minutes of receiving patient's food order via Room Service phone. Sanitizes hands before and after entering patient's room. Does final scanning of tray outside of patient's room not beforehand.

• High school diploma or equivalent required.
• Must be able to read, write, and comprehend English. Bilingual English/Spanish preferred.
• One year work experience in food service or customer service required. Experience in healthcare or therapeutic
• Good customer service and communication skills necessary.
• Computer and math skills strongly preferred.
• Must have good personal hygiene and be able to work flexible days and hours.
• Completion of Dietary Clerk I competencies within 90 days of employment required.
