Kforce Senior Business Contracts Analyst in Stamford, Connecticut

A Kforce client is looking for a Senior Business Contracts Analyst in Stamford, Connecticut (CT).Key Responsibilities:

  • Issue and process the standard contracts (including drafting contract language), due diligence and set up forms required to enter new arrangements to distribute investment products

  • Work with Business Implementation colleagues, sales, finance, and operations personnel to review and resolve issues related to deal execution

  • Conduct annual due diligence checks on business partners/clients: including review of responses to our standard form, and performing online FINRA and OFAC checks

  • Conduct and properly document and store annual due diligence updates by partner to manage risk and satisfy board reporting requirements

  • Send due diligence issues and altered contracts to legal and compliance areas and follow-up and manage the process participants to bring deals to closure on a timely basis

  • Respond to client inquiries related to the status of their contracts and other questions on a timely basis

  • Work with and respond to sales staff's inquiries on contract status or information related to them

  • Update of partner contact lists and database for each new contract/business partner

  • Documentation of processes and creation of new or updated procedures

  • Other special projects and ad hoc items as assigned

  • Related Bachelor's degree, with an advanced Master's degree a plus

  • 5-7 years of work experience in a corporate environment

  • A strong work ethic and an appropriate sense of urgency

  • Ability to independently analyze and resolve issues

  • Smart, high-energy and results-oriented with excellent execution skills

  • Organizational skills

  • Strong customer relationship management and servicing skills (able to deal effectively) with clients of all seniority levels as well as internal corporate relationship management skills

  • Strong command of language and excellent reading skills to effectively review and interpret contracts

  • Technologically proficient in the Microsoft Office suite of products

  • Advanced Proficiency in Microsoft Word is required
