Ministry Our Lady of Victory Hospital is looking for a Part Time Inventory Coordinator! Summary: Responsible for coordinating inventory/supply activities for assigned departments at assigned facilities in support of Category Management strategy. Accountable for risk mitigation and financial integrity related to functions/actions performed within the realm of Inventory Management for assigned facilities. Works closely with other Supply Chain entities to provide efficient/effective integration of supply line changes into assigned facilities. This is a “Mission Critical” role for Supply Chain to ensure that assigned facilities inventory functions run smoothly. Duties and Responsibilities: 1. Facilitates operational logistics activities related to specific department inventory management for assigned departments/facilities.

  1. Promotes best practices and operational excellence within Logistics.

  2. Mitigates risk for Ministry Healthcare by implementation of departmental inventory programs for assigned departments at local facilities that maintain the highest possible level of assurance that supplies will be available for optimal patient care at those sites.

  3. Supports financial viability for MHC through close and expert monitoring and manipulation of departmental MMIS data. Is the “super user” expert in the use of barcode reading equipment.

  4. Supports financial viability for MHC through implementation of inventory management strategies related to the Logistics area of responsibility for assigned departments at assigned facilities

  5. Supports financial viability for MHC through participation of the formal physical inventory program.

  6. Collaborates with all Supply Chain leaders to provide a congruent, best practice Supply Chain Model.

  7. Helps Logistics Manager orientate new frontline staff on the use of barcode equipment and models support of the Logistics, Supply Chain and Ministry Healthcare strategies and growth goals.

  8. Supports system-wide Logistics strategy through collaboration with other facilities’ Inventory Coordinators.

  9. Provide staffing coverage for other system Inventory Coordinators and Inventory Clerks as required. Qualifications: Two years of college or equivalent materials management/supply chain technical school preferred. Two years experience in materials management/supply chain setting.
