PLANT ENGINEER - TARLAC (Job Number: 010456W-01)
Responsible for safe, effective and efficient execution of all engineering activities, typically at site or location level. Plans for resources needed to implement preventive maintenance & repair of facilities & equipment’s, ground maintenance, and upkeep of structures/buildings within the site. Responsible for design, drawings, specifications and estimates required for in-house, third-party, or CAPEX projects meeting company standards. Provides leadership to all team members to achieve KPI’s/Operational goals. May provide assistance to other functions as technical resource for engineering related matters.
Review projects/work schedules and allocate teammembers to execute and complete tasks
Encourage team participation and involvement inexecution of works
Lead and/or participate in continuous improvementprojects, as well as possessing general understanding of LEAN and SixSigma tools
Recommend and implement measures to improveproductivity, performance, work quality, methods, working conditions, andefficiencies
Provide regular coaching and feedback to include dailyon the job coaching, performance management & development plancoaching
Participate in the Performance Management"PM" planning process, as assigned
Parts and Tools Keeping
BS Graduate of Electrical Engineering/Mechanical Engineering
3-5 years experience on plant maintenance and engineering
License Electrical Engineer/License Mechanical Engineer
Ability to climb and/or work in elevated areas; standing/sitting for extended periods;
Operating machinery, motor vehicles such as trucks and/or forklifts; repetitive motion and/or repetitive lifting (minimal requirement 60 lbs.), exposure to weather and environmental conditions (e.g., heat, dust, cold, noise),
Ability and willingness to work in a variety of conditions (plant, warehouse – hot, cold, dust, noise, etc.).
Overtime hours including weekend work and holidays required during seasonal peaks.
Position requires on call 24/7 when needed.
Positions requiring a CDL are subject to DOT drug & alcohol testing requirements.

Process Improvement Skills – SMED, LEAN, Six Sigma, and other tools applicable.
Computer Skills – GPD systems & reports, MS Office, PLC troubleshooting

Compliance & PolicyInterpretation and Implementation Skills – B/RRP & SARBOX [ordering, contracting, vendor evaluation & selection]
Seedmanship Skills – concepts of seed conditioning, treating & bagging, basic understanding of genetics
Plant Operations Skills – workflow planning, quality/quality testing, predictive/preventative maintenance, basic mechanical systems/welding, knowledge of plant equipment
