JPMorgan Chase Team Leader - Mortgage Banking Customer Service - Tempe, Arizona in Tempe, Arizona

As a Team Leader, you will oversee a team of approximately fifteen Customer Service Specialists, ensuring that their unit objectives and standards are consistently met.

May require working Saturdays.

Responsibilities:

Training new staff members.

Conducting performance reviews and making recommendations regarding corrective action. Holding regular meetings to communicate policy and procedural changes and updates as well as department objectives and company initiatives. Coaching and developing your team members to ensure that customer service and call quality standards are understood and achieved.

Networking and building relationships with partners in intersecting lines of business.

Handling and resolving escalated customer and employee issues.

Completing various special projects and assignments as directed by management.

One or more years of combined mortgage experience required.

Strong preference given for candidate with Mortgage Customer Service Experience.

Prior supervisory or management experience desirable.

Some experience managing in a high productivity customer contact center preferred.

Good analytical and critical thinking skills, able to anticipate problems and resolve quickly.

Excellent verbal and written communication skills.

Results and goal oriented.

Flexible and adaptable; possess excellent change management skills.

Strong team building skills; ability to train ,manage and motivate staff.

Proficient with Microsoft Office products.

Experience with MSP preferred.

Some college, a bachelor's degree or equivalent is preferred.
