Kforce Vendor Manager in Tempe, Arizona

A Kforce client is seeking an experienced, versatile Vendor Manager that is needed for large scale transformation initiative, involving evaluation of all Banking daily deposit accounts (DDA) related systems. This position is in Woodland Hills, CA.Responsibilities:

  • Responsible for managing vendors and contractors, including ensuring deliverables and requirements are fulfilled as well as ensuring schedules and budget are on track

  • Responsible for development, implementation and tracking of appropriate SLAs

  • Manage any vendor-related risks and issues through effective contingency plans and proper escalation

  • Schedule and run all vendor reviews

  • Manage vendor team onboarding/offboarding, training and communications

  • Manage complex stakeholder alignment and issue resolution using executive influencing skills

  • Facilitate Core Team meetings

  • Contribute to overall program success, working sessions and other planning/development activities

  • Analyze and report actual performance vs. business case goals

  • Work in a self-directed environment

  • Typically 10 years relevant consulting and/or industry and functional experience

  • Requires strong executive-level communications, presentations and problem-solving skills, ability to work with and influence various stakeholders, and juggle and shift gears among multiple priorities and processes

  • Solid MS PowerPoint, Project and Excel skills

  • Banking/financial services experience preferred

  • Experience in vendor/supplier relationship management, procurement/sourcing, program/project management are pluses
