Our client in Baltimore County is seeking a Purchasing Manager with general contracting experience. The Purchasing Manager would be responsible for communicating with stakeholders to ascertain project scope and confirmation of services required. Purchasing Manager will be responsible for drafting of bids to be posted in an online procurement system. Our client's internal criteria for bidder selection will be used to select and finalize award bids. Candidates should have experience with municipal or government agencies. Experience with bid writing, and vendor selection is required while experience with online procurement systems is a plus. Candidates from large general contractors (GC's) is preferred.
