3D Printing Solutions Development & Partnering – Digitization & Services
This is a technical leadership role that will be responsible for driving HP’s strategy for digitization & services development from a customer-centric, vertically focused point of view, and proposing new or existing services as part of end-to-end solutions for 3d printing final part manufacturing. Together with the rest of the 3DP Customer and Market Development organization, the selected candidate will work to expand the addressable market for the HP’s 3D printing business, where digitization and services are a fundamental element to break into industries and advance the state-of-the art. Partnering with key digitization, services and consultancy companies is fundamental to this role in order to accelerate solutions development and delivery.
For this role we are seeking leaders with a unique combination of strategy development, strong business acumen and deep expertise in digitization, cloud, analytics, IoT and printing systems. The ideal candidate is a doer, a strategic thinker and a networker by nature. Since this role will support multiple verticals, we are less concerned with deep industry knowledge (though this is a big plus) and more focused on the ability to learn quickly and identify critical factors of consideration for a solution strategy.
The selected candidate will be responsible for:
Identify customer needs related with digitization services for taking 3DP into manufacturing environments. Identify value capture opportunities for HP and define plans to monetize them.
Define HP’s digitization and services development and partnering strategy with senior management and influence HP’s software, cloud and service development roadmap.
Evaluate and Propose services compatible with HP’s 3D printing process that meet customer needs in different verticals; Support pilots in real customer environments
Identify critical partners to work with and develop strategic, collaborative relationships. Lead multiple projects in parallel to evaluate and develop services for 3D printing solutions.
Education and Experience:
Bachelor's or Master's degree in Engineering and/or Business, or equivalent
Minimum 4-10 years experience
Knowledge and Skills
Proven extensive abilities involving leadership, strategic and creative thinking, problem solving, and individual initiative
Ability to effectively communicate solutions, design proposals and negotiate options at management and senior technical levels.
Ability to lead without a title and influence others at different levels of the organization
Strong digitization background, with deep knowledge in cloud, analytics, IoT, manufacturing sysytems, digital thread and digital enterprise systems (ERP, PLM, CRM).
Strong partnership & networking capabilities. Able to manage complex relationships at both strategic and tactical level.
Deep understanding of the relationships and implications between digitization and manufacturing, operations, key performance metrics, supply chain and logistics
Using and evaluating appropriate engineering design tools and software packages to design components and solutions.
Excellent analytical and problem solving skills.
Excellent written and verbal communication skills; mastery in English and local language.
Professional Services / Strategic Consulting experience is highly valued.
Knowledge about 3D printing market, applications and technologies is a big plus.
Knowledge about customer needs in different verticals such as automotive, aerospace and healthcare is a big plus.
