Description -

We’re looking for a Product Manager for PageWide A3 who will join a Product Management team that is responsible for the strategy and definition of our A3 products. This is an exciting new role that will be investigating new markets and business models for HP’s revolutionary PageWide technology for our new A3 format devices. The product manager will work on sizing new markets, understanding market trends and customer needs, and competitive positioning in order to define requirements. You will partner closely with our R&D teams to bring your vision to reality and make appropriate tradeoffs to ensure financial success. This position will be based in Vancouver, WA.

Primary Responsibilities

  • Investigate and understand size, key customer needs, and competitive landscape for new potential markets. Identify use case opportunities for HP to bring differentiated capabilities and offers that drive our growth in A3.

  • Work with R&D and finance to build business cases for your opportunities. Drive market research and evidence-based customer insights to build your case.

  • Partner with R&D during the development process to ensure focus on the customer needs you identify. Understand tradeoffs and make recommendations based on your deep understanding of the customer.

  • Create compelling presentations about the customer value and HP benefit.

  • Meet marketing objectives and provide deliverables within timelines and on budget.Key Skills:

  • Financial acumen and analytical ability to identify trends, support conclusions, and optimize business decisions.

  • Demonstrate a bias for action to deliver outstanding results.

  • Proven ability to lead cross functional teams and influence cross-functionally and cross-organizationally.

  • Have a keen eye for compelling customer experiences, and skilled at defining compelling experiences for business customers.

  • Strong communicator that can present, sell, and defend your ideas effectively to internal teams and customers. Can take feedback effectively.

  • Build and maintain strong professional relationships across and within the organization. Key Education and Experience:

  • Product management - minimum 5 years experience, including software products. Experience with printer related categories is a bonus.

  • Experience in enterprise markets. Experience with contractual routes to market is a bonus.

  • MBA or equivalent
