Sotera Defense Solutions Deputy Program Manager in Vienna, Virginia


Sotera is seeking a Deputy Program Manager to support a Federal Law Enforcement agency client in Northern VA.

The Deputy Program Manager will:

  • Function as an operational deputy contract manager on site with client and staff of approximately 40 Intelligence Analysts.

  • Responsible for managing, supporting, training and direction of contract employees and sub-contractors, in addition to the coordination and levying of tasks and maintaining staffing levels at the request of government senior-level leadership.

  • Serves as an expert advisor and consultant providing oversight and advice to manager and operation personnel by performing functions which include a broad range of planning, research, analysis, and program management functions addressing the most complex issues relative to the Bureau.

  • Monitors and manages daily production of team’s deliverable with customer to clarify objectives and improve processes; allocates resources across the team to accomplish the customer’s objectives and ensure information is reviewed in a timely manner.

  • Responsible for the interviewing, hiring, training, and evaluation of contract and sub-contract employees.

  • In addition to deputy program management duties, serves an intelligence analyst responsible for ensuring that the United States’ Government’s consolidated Watchlist of known or reasonably suspected terrorist (KST) identities is “thorough, accurate and current.”


  • Must possess at least two years of Watchlisting-related experience and 4 years of Intelligence Community or Law Enforcement experience.

  • Must have or be willing to obtain a Bachelor's Degree.

Qualified candidates must have a current TS/SCI level security clearance.
