SOS International LLC (SOSi) is seeking an Information Technology (IT) Manager for a full-time position supporting our United States Government (USG) customer. The IT Manager shall develop and maintain networks and server infrastructure and troubleshoot GFE and Contractor-Acquired IT equipment. Additionally, IT Managers shall create, manage and maintain a database for collection and distribution of all customer products including but not limited to: raw video footage, audio images, text, and web-based products. IT Managers shall develop and maintain websites, if required. IT Manager shall, if required, embed in the customers’ automation section. This position will report to the In-Country Program Manager.Essential Job Duties:• Conduct day-to-day-management for the implementation and oversight for all IT functions• Create, manage and maintain a database for the collection and distribution of all information operations products including, but not limited to raw video footage, audio, images, text and web-based products• Manage, network architecture design and implementation• Maintain network database(s) and websites• Maintenance and troubleshooting across a broad range of IT systems
• US citizenship with a current DOD SECRET security clearance• Bachelor’s degree highly desired• Five (5) years experience working in IT asset use and management, networking, database management, and web design, Security+ and 1 Cisco certificate• Possess experience in network architecture design, implementation, and maintenance; database ad website development, and maintenance and troubleshooting across a broad range of IT systems • Function effectively during heightened threat levels and extended periods of high stress and physical danger and discomfort• Organize and properly prioritize work assignments and function well in an environment that requires constant multi-tasking - and often long hours• Excellent written, oral, briefing, interpersonal and technical skills
Work Environment:• Live and work daily with military customer in austere conditions across Afghanistan• Function effectively and efficiently in a conflict zone, during extended periods of high pressure and stress
