Job Purpose:

Ensure financial data for the businesses supported reflect accurate figures and financials are reconciled during Month End Closing.Be the SME (Subject Matter Expert) for the process.Analyze and update models due to process changes in order to create the entries. Own the process of creating diverse entries such as allocations, reclassifications and some other adjustments as required.Investigate and provide explanations of variances between legal and management books to the customers. Ensure the compliance with company policy and support all efforts to optimize the process, implementations, documentation and migrations to the area.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Ensure systems reconciliations. For all the businesses supported, ensure from an end to end perspective that all systems reflect the same data.

  • Originate Journal Entries based on business requirements and ensure successful load into different platforms.

  • Able to verbalize and understand the end to end of the processed adjustments.

  • Ensure all adjustments comply with corporate rules and guidelines.

  • Develop and demonstrate to be a subject matter expert in the processes assigned.

  • Solve different issues post month close.

  • Prepare all necessary process documentation.

  • Actively participate and lead migrations of new work into the Costa Rica office and work in ad hoc projects.



  • Bachelor’s degree in Finance, Business Administration, Economy, accounting or equivalent work experience.

  • +3-5 years of working experience in Finance/Accounting or related area.


  • Fluent in English both oral and written since the analyst will have constant calls with English native speakers who don’t speak Spanish.

  • Proficient in the use of office applications (MS Office, MS Word, MS Excel, MS PowerPoint); MS Excel advanced level is preferred.

  • Strong time management and organizational skills.

  • Knowledge and experience in accounting and finance functions.

  • Pearl knowledge is a plus
