Job Description

SOS International LLC (SOSi) is seeking an Administrator to support Human Resources (HR) activities for a company program in Iraq.The Administrator will report to an in-country HR Manager and perform general administrative duties in support of a diverse group of SOSi personnel.

Job Duties:

  • Partner with Iraq in-country HR Manager, Corporate HR Manager and program management team to provide general administrative support to SOSi personnel working in Iraq

  • Support activities related to recruiting, on-boarding, benefit enrollment, employee engagement/morale, terminations and off-boarding

  • Assist with drafting of position descriptions and validation of job requisitions
  • Oversee collection, maintenance and reporting of all labor data; maintain personnel management roster and other metrics associated with program workforce
  • Support coordination of annual performance evaluation process
  • Monitor annual and ad-hoc ethics and other job-related training requirements
  • Ensure compliance with timekeeping requirements
  • Stay abreast of, and support compliance with, applicable U.S. and Iraqi labor laws and other regulations; support development of action plans in response to changing regulations
  • Work on special projects and perform other duties as assigned

Minimum Requirements

  • A minimum ofthree years of relevant experience

  • Bachelor’s degree in Psychology, Business or Human Resources preferred; three years of relevant experience may be substituted for a degree

  • Experience in international administrative assignment (desired but not required)
  • Exceptional interpersonal and conflict resolution skills
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills
  • Strong analytical and problem solving skills
  • Attention to detail and ability to prioritize, multitask and adapt to shifting priorities
  • Ability to maintain confidentiality of sensitive company and employee information
  • Flexibility to adapt to a dynamic, fast-paced, growing and developing environment
  • Demonstrated proficiency in the Microsoft Office Suite
