Honeywell Senior Account Manager in Japan

The Japan Auto OEM Account Manager will report to the Auto Business Director in the US and will be responsible for leading our sales efforts at the Japanese auto OEMs. The successful candidate will call on purchasing, operations, plant scheduling and engineering staff at carmaker headquarters as well as at all car plants in the territory. Examples of potential customers would be: Toyota, Honda, Nissan, Subaru, Mazda. The OEM Account Manager will also work closely with our Japan distributors to coordinate the sales of packaged product though distributors to our OEM customers. Fluency in Japanese and English is required. The successful candidate will coordinate our global activities with each of the Japanese carmakers requiring travel to the US, Canada, Mexico, Europe, Thailand, etc, when needed to coordinate or close sales. The role will require at least 30% overnight travel and the person will work from a home office or from the Honeywell Tokyo office. 10 years prior experience selling to carmakers or to Tier 1/Tier 2 suppliers is required. The annual territory sales revenue is $10M and is expected to grow to over $75M in the next 3 years.
