Role & Responsibilities – EMEA Regional Marketing Manager
Manage the Medical & Pharmaceutical Protection market for the EMEA Region and serve as the EMEA representative on the global segment core team
Responsible for significant direct and indirect revenue and a profitable product range. Manage the marketing mix within the region, including
Strategic pricing aligned with the global nature of this industry
Product portfolio optimization with customers, ensuring the right product for the right application
Targeted industry outreach and promotional activities
Lead market trend analysis within the region and determine volume and revenue forecasts.
Represent the regional needs and downstream market viewpoint with the global team, advocating for the needs and growth plans for this region. Work closely with application development and regulatory teams.
Drive commercialization of new products, including in the ECEMEA region
Manage team of 3 highly skilled people
Role & Responsibilities – Global Pharma Market Leader
Develop a differential market strategy for this high-end, high-value sub-segment in order to determine strategic growth plans for it for the next 5 years.
Lead market investigation activities for the global pharmaceutical sub-segment
Determine market outreach and positioning activities, including targeted downstream promotional campaigns, for existing portfolio to drive annual growth above industry growth rates
Work with new business development team to seed new opportunity product portfolio targeted at differentially serving the high end of the market
Investigate both organic and inorganic growth options
Value chain mapping
Competitive environment and threats
Downstream influence: Work downstream, at the medical device and pharmaceutical company level, to pull through sales. Grow the downstream demand regardless of within which region the sales are booked. Determine and implement marketing communication strategies to reach further downstream to the disperse healthcare and related medical products industries.
Business development focus: Navigate and master the increasingly complex channel relationships being forged in this industry. Influence multiple steps along the value chain, both within the region and by working with counterparts in other regions.
Regulatory development: Regulation drives this industry. It is critical to merge activities between our strong regulatory team and market development activities. The EU is in the process of passing new medical device regulations – this role will support the regulatory team in taking a holistic market development approach with a long term focus.
Market-backed considerations: Implement appropriate activities to obtain market intelligence and voice of the customer and validate market opportunities in operations in the pharmaceutical industry, often confidential and requiring sophisticated approach to gain their confidence.
Solid commercial oriented experience as well as substantial experience in the pharmaceutical or medical device industries
Marketing mindset and in depth understanding of translating customer needs to product and market actions
Demonstrated experience in developing new business
Self-starter and motivator
Leadership presence and inclination to develop talent
Strong influence management and ability to work with and gain alignment across a wide range of functions and cultures
Willingness to travel up to 50%, including global travel
Languages: English required; preferred to also speak German, French, and/or Italian
