Fairmont Assistant Server - 38° N Lobby Bar in United States
This position supports 38North bartenders and servers with the day to day operations of the bar. Ensure smooth Guest service through proper upkeep and stocking of the bar and service areas.Hotel Overview:*
Summary of Responsibilities:Reporting to the Sante Restaurant Manager, responsibilities and essential job functions include but are not limited to the following:
Consistently offers professional, engaging and friendly service
Provide warm and engaging service and greeting each Guest with a smile. Follow steps of service as laid out in the colleague training manual. Perform proper open and closing duties as outlined on the appropriate checklists. Assist with putting away the requisitions each day. Locate, wash, polish and replenish glassware as needed throughout the shift. Assist with the squeezing of fresh juices. Assist with bar top and table bussing. Assist with placing condiments on the table prior to food arriving. Assist with running food orders to the tables. Knowledge of each dish is required. Clearing and wiping down of the bar top and tables through the shift. Sweep and mop the dining area as needed. Ensure bar wares are being washed and replaced during the shift. Dish washing machine maintenance each night. Stock beers, sodas and wines as needed throughout the shift and at the end of the evening. Assist with filling out the nightly requisition. Assist bartenders and servers with nightly closing duties Double check the bar area for cleanliness each night Attend monthly departmental meetings and ensure opening communication with the 38* North and F&B; Management team Complete other duties as assigned by F&B; Manager on Duty
