As Front Office Supervisor, you will be an ambassador for an exceptional guest experience, where your passion for service will inspire your team and make our guests feel valued. The Front Office Supervisor is primarily responsible for supervising all the Front Desk Agents while they are on shift, ensuring all tasks are completed on a daily basis and that the shift runs smoothly. The Front Office Supervisor will be the main point of contact for the Front Desk and all other operating departments, such as Housekeeping and Engineering.
The Fairmont Dallas, located in the Arts District of downtown Dallas, offers 545 elegant guestrooms and suites, with over 73,000 square feet of banqueting and meeting space. Summary of Responsibilities: Reporting to the Director of Front Offce, responsibilities and essential job functions include but are not limited to the following:
Consistently offer professional, friendly and engaging service
Lead and supervise the Front Desk team while ensuring all service standards are followed
Handle guest concerns and react quickly, logging and notifying proper departments
Attend regularly scheduled departmental meeting
Assist in managing the departmental budget and scheduling Colleagues accordingly
Balance operational, administrative and Colleague needs
Assist guests regarding hotel facilities in an informative and helpful way
Follow department policies, procedures and service standards
Follow all safety policies
Other duties as assigned
Previous leadership experience in front office preferred
Previous Property Management System experience required
Computer literate in Microsoft Window applications preferred
Must be able to type 25 words per minute
University/College degree in a related discipline an asset
Must possess a professional presentation
Strong interpersonal and problem solving abilities
Highly responsible & reliable
Ability to work well under pressure in a fast paced environment
Ability to work cohesively as part of a team
Ability to focus attention on guest needs, remaining calm and courteous at all times
Physical Aspects of Position (include but are not limited to):
Frequent standing and walking throughout shift
Occasional kneeling, pushing, pulling, lifting
Occasional ascending or descending stairs and ramps
Visa Requirements: Must be able to provide proof of eligibility to work in the United States.
