Job Description

**This position is contingent upon contract award**SOSi is seeking a highly qualified Helpdesk/LAN Technician who has relevant experience at a comparable level of responsibility in projects of similar size, scope and complexity. ESSENTIAL JOB DUTIES• Shall provide airfield operations services to ensure aircraft arrive, receive services properly, and depart in a safe and timely manner to support the air operations mission• Shall direct all aircraft ground operations using hand signals to communicate with aircraft pilot in accordance with NAVAIR 00-80T-113, Aircraft Signals Naval Air Training and Operating Procedures Standardization Program (NATOPS) Manual• Airfield Operations are a 24 hours, seven days a week operation. The contractor shall provide operation services at all times• Opens and closes LAN accounts as required• Troubleshoots and assists end-user• Maintains current Trouble Calls Ledger for historical files/trend analyses•Responsible for web Page maintenance and upkeep• Performs and checks backups• Updates Router IP Block Lists• Assists with the upkeep of servers and networks• Maintains Windows based desktop and laptop computers to provide optimal performance• Troubleshoots LAN, desktop, and printer problems as they occur for minimal downtime• Ensures employees are able to access network resources• Windows Servers based networks containing Windows clients• Implements security and installs applications using Group Policies• Deploys, configures, installs, tests and maintains network components, e.g., servers, PCs, monitors, keyboards, and printers• Setups and maintains internet connections• Responsible for software and Hardware management and support• Hardware Deployment Specialist• Responsible to prepare all new hire computers• Creates/Maintains user accounts• Maintains/Documents site licenses• Performs/maintains semi-annual and annual inventory of LAN hardware and software• Creates/maintains/deploys desktop and server images• Receives and deploys/redeploys desktops

Minimum Requirements

• Must possess a SSBI U.S. Secret level Security Clearance• Bachelor’s degree • Must be Windows 7 Microsoft Certified Professional (MCP) or higher• Must be CompTIA Security+ certification or higher
