What You Need to Bring To The Table:

  • Minimum of 3 years of consultative outside B2B sales experience

  • Experience selling technology (HRIS, HCM) based solutions; familiarity with payroll or PEO solutions helpful

  • Competency at building C-level relationships

  • History of sales-wins with long sales cycles (3-9 months)

  • Ability to gain required industry licensing (company support provided)

  • Bachelor’s degree or equivalent additional experience

The Role:

Our Gallagher Marketplace Technology Sales Consultantsprovides our private benefits exchange (Gallagher Marketplace), sales opportunities for our Gallagher Branches by calling prospective clients, setting appointments, managing follow-up calls to marketing campaigns, seminars and conferences, and researching leads and prospects. The primary responsibility for the Business Development Specialist is to generate revenue for Gallagher with the primary service/product is Gallagher Marketplace.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Close sales opportunities by calling on executives and benefits decision makers at employers.

  • Make outbound cold-calls to assigned prospective clients and set appointments

  • Utilize Social Media selling activities to drive awareness and generate sales leads

  • Conduct demonstrations for prospective clients

  • Make follow-up calls to prospective clients from marketing campaigns, seminars, and conferences

  • Document all sales-related activities using (SFDC)

  • Research leads and prospects in preparation for prospective client meetings

  • Manage and support special corporate and/or branch initiatives as called upon

  • Other duties as assigned

U.S. Eligibility Requirements (Standard for all U.S. Positions):
