SOS International LLC (SOSi) is seeking a Military Exercise Planner to work at our customer's facility in Ramstein, Germany. The Exercise Planner will develop, review, and revise plans to support real world contingencies and military training exercises. The Planner will plan, review, coordinate, evaluate, and integrate actions required to support current and future operational missions. The ideal candidate will have experience providing advice and recommendations to high level officials regarding operational plans and concepts.Essential Duties• Review strategic plans to ensure they are prepared to optimize combat support, support personnel, equipment and resources in accordance with governing guidance and doctrine• Review battlefield operating systems, conduct front-end analysis, and develop related intelligence products and analysis• Provide mission analysis and draft concepts of the operation, courses of action, and correlation of force and means associated with designated missions/plans• Draft supporting war plans that are both operational plans and contingency plans • Participate in extensive coordination meetings with the Theater intelligence organizations, US national intelligence community, US component officials and military community to identify intelligence needs and develop recommendations for solutions• Provide recommendations for interoperable intelligence systems and capabilities in a US only, as well as a coalition environment• Prepare and present seminars, briefings, and staff exercises to ensure continuity of action and proficiency of purpose• Provide support to address current contingency operations and potential, related follow-on operations and support scenario development and exercise planning• Provide analysis of battle staff planning concerning Intelligence Preparation of the Battlefield (IPB) supporting contingency operations in the European AOR• Document and analyzes leadership of former/current commanding intelligence leaders• Systematically record insights, concepts, problem identification and solutions, etc., to leadership in lessons learned format• Provide professional military intelligence strategy advice and assistance in support of the most senior command leadership to maximize effectiveness• Draft and revise intelligence inputs / annexes to plans
• Current Top Secret with SCI eligibility (TS/SCI)• Master’s degree in a related field and eight (8) years of recent specialized experience OR • Bachelor’s degree in a related field and eleven (11 years of recent specialized experience OR • Fifteen (15) years of recent specialized experience in lieu of a degree
