University of Buffalo - Campus, Dining Student Positions for the Fall Semester in United States

Assist Campus Dining and Shops employees in providing quality meals to students, faculty, staff and visitors in a timely manner with an emphasis on customer service.


  • Must be a Student with the University at Buffalo, registered for classes at time of hire.

  • Wear a provided uniform, including a hat.

  • Must be able to work quickly and efficiently in a high-volume operation.

  • Professional appearance, demeanor, and hygiene required.

  • Must be able to lift 30+ pounds, and be able to sit, stand, and walk for 8 hours per day, and bend and reach as the job requires.

  • Regular attendance for scheduled shifts is required.

  • Must attend a training class.

PRESENT JOB ASSIGNMENTS (Please note that these assignments are subject to change):

  • General food service/preparation duties including handling meat as assigned.

  • Provide excellent customer service

  • Station set up, breakdown, and restocking.

  • Keep a neat, clean, and sanitized work area.

  • Must work consistently and productively during entire shift.

  • General cleaning/dishwashing and other food service duties or tasks as requested by management.

  • Additional duties as assigned and requested by management
