Position Description

This technical position operates within a quality control laboratory that requires thorough knowledge and technical expertise of QC Microbiology as well as regulatory requirements for testing applicable to aseptically filled, sterile pharmaceutical products.

Main Areas of Responsibilities

  • This position will be responsible for performing microbiological validation and routine testing and interpretation of results based on standard operating procedures.

  • This position must be proficient at technical writing to include SOP drafts and OOS/OOL investigations, protocols, and reports.

  • This position assists in the review and approval of microbial testing and ETO/gamma sterilization records in order to ensure that the company is in compliance with all environmental, health and safety requirements, and assure our business practices enhance the welfare of our customers, employees, and the community in which we operate.


  • 5 years QC Microbiology Lab experience

  • Excellent analytical skills and effective problem solving skills.

  • Excellent documentation skills.

  • Proven ability to work effectively with others.

  • Good oral and written communication skills.

  • Proficient Microsoft Office skills.

  • Proficient in Math

  • Ability to work with limited supervision


  • B.S. degree in Microbiology or related major
