Robert Half Office Team Customer Service Representative in Walnut Creek, California

  • Receives telephone requests for price quotations, purchase orders, order changes, adjustments, and cancellations directly from ASMs, customers, management, domestic customers, original equipment manufacturers, and distributors.

  • Achieves and maintains rapport with customers and works to give them the best possible service.

  • Makes price quotations immediately by phone. Prepares forms for price quotations and forwards quotes to customer for approval.

  • Checks with credit department concerning credit status of customer when rush orders are received.

  • Contacts distributors or checks computer printouts sent to us by customers to locate requested items in order to meet customer's delivery requirements. Relays this information to customer.

  • Prepares paperwork (original purchase order, copies of invoice, and return goods memo) to be given to accounting department for credit or debit to be issued.

  • Prepare sales proposals, SOWs, RFPs and to process Purchase Orders to complete a sales transaction.

  • Responsible for Service Contract adds/changes and proposals.

  • Maintain accuracy on quotes, proposals, E-Rate's, RFP's, Sales Orders, invoicing.

  • Keep analysis of all wins and losses on and provide to Management.

  • Keep organized files on Cisco Surveys, Certifications, Assessments, OIP's, TIPS, DSAs, Deal Registration

  • Maintain Cisco SmartNet and all manufacture renewals weekly

  • Status Update reports daily.

  • Back-up on phones.

  • Put all internal copies of quotes/RFPs and E-Rate on the NAS daily.

  • Communicate with Management on all quotes for discounts/pricing

  • Work with all Cisco tools including, but not limited to CCW and CCSC

  • Include ASM on all emails regarding all quotes to customers

  • As a result of our small business environment additional duties may be assigned from time to time.
