Verizon Wireless Pega Architect in Warren, New Jersey


Join our Information Technology team where you will work on new Pega technology and find ways to meet our customers’ needs and make it easy for them to do business with us. The candidate will design architectural framework and design patters for Decision Management and Case Management systems. Responsibilities include(s)

  • Architect solution on Pega platform, develop proof-of-concept projects to evaluate technical soundness of proposals for architectural enhancements and support delivery of these enhancements to production.

  • Participate in business strategy and roadmap planning.

  • Collaborate with business partners in marketing and care organization to develop cutting edge solutions that creates competitive advantage in the industry. Create and manage Next Best Action and Case management implementation roadmaps.

  • Provide technical-leadership to project team members and business partners across business and technical project dimensions solving complex business requirements.

  • Actively lead complex design and be a key anchor on the design of PRPC and CMS implementation projects.

  • Ensure that the solutions meet business needs, meets performance requirements and security restrictions.

  • Provide technical expertise and ownership in the diagnosis and resolution of an issue, including the determination and provision of workaround solution or escalation.


  • BS Degree in related area or equivalent work experience.

  • Experience in Pega UI development.

  • Possess experience with Pega 7.x

  • Architects, designs and codes from specifications, analyze, evaluate, tests, debugs, documents, and implements moderately complex software applications.

  • Competent to work at the highest technical level of all phases of applications programming activities.

  • Expertise in evaluating technical solutions and out of box products.

  • Expertise skills in application performance expectations and security requirements.

  • Experience in customizing purchased applications, and maintaining component libraries and technical manuals.

  • Familiar with Agile/Scrum concepts.

  • Pega CSSA certification.

Preferred Skills -

  • Certified Pega Marketing Consultant (CPMC).
