Microsoft Services is looking for an exceptional business and technical leader who will support the Federal Civilian Health & Benefits team as an Account Delivery Executive. The Microsoft Services Federal Civilian team plays a vital role in supporting our customer’s objectives through accelerating the adoption and deployment of Microsoft products and services as we solve their most challenging problems.

The successful applicant will work with some of Microsoft’s most important, most demanding customers and partners and will be responsible for all aspects of our services business including: customer relationships and satisfaction, services delivery, and operations. The candidate must understand information technology (IT) and have the requisite experience to provide leadership in the technology services field while adopting an entrepreneurial perspective and growth mindset. The Account Delivery Executive will lead individuals within the delivery teams from both consulting and support capabilities, providing a single point of contact/escalation for the customer. The Account Delivery Executive is on point to drive customer satisfaction, create delivery plans that support the account strategies, demonstrate customer value realization, and ensure services revenue growth & profitability.

Responsibilities include:

-Developing and overseeing implementation of effective services sales; developing strategic plans to grow Microsoft’s services business in alignment with customer and partner needs, delivery of engagements, and staff management.

-Key to the role will be developing strong, positive relationships with internal Microsoft stakeholders such as Account Managers, Product Development teams as well other Services Program Managers, Practice Managers, and key local and Industry partners.

-The candidate must be able to multitask and handle multiple priorities at once. Prior experience handling or operating in crisis situations / escalations is a plus. Strong oral and written communication, organization, prioritization and interpersonal skills are required as well as effective negotiation skills.

-The role requires a strong manager who is resourceful, confident under pressure, able to build strong relationships, lead and motivate others, and has demonstrated knowledge in Enterprise Services, Operational Control (operating and budgeted expense), Resource Allocation (headcount and staffing plans), and Business Development.

The successful candidate must be a US Citizen and have the ability to meet Microsoft, customer and/or government security screening requirements as required for this role and be able to obtain a Govt security clearance. The position may require travel with consecutive overnight stays. The selected candidate should be able to start within 30 days of offer acceptance.

Basic Qualifications:

• 5+ years leading a professional services delivery team or related IT consulting experience

• Must be a US citizen

Preferred Qualifications:

• PMP strongly preferred.

• BS, BA or Master’s degree preferred
