NCI: As the Program Management Office (PMO) Assistant ( Financial Analyst I ) you will assist in providing program wide oversight on a Federal Government contract working on a Program Management Oversight team. The position interacts daily with NCI staff as well as the government client. Support the monthly contractual deliverables. In assuming this position, you will be a critical contributor to meeting NCI's mission: To deliver innovative, cost-effective solutions and services that enable our customers to rapidly adapt to dynamic environments.
Highlights of Responsibilities:
Create and deliver contractual financial reports to the client every month.
Maintain contract performance metrics and deliver monthly SLA report to the client.
Support invoice submission process by providing verification and correction.
Review time recording and verification of hours charged to the client.
Run burn rates and deliver daily or weekly reports to the project managers.
Deliver weekly project financial report to the client.
Perform monthly and yearly contract budgeting and forecasting.
Perform ad-hoc financial reporting as needed.
Provide support for project performance tracking and project status reporting.
Assist in the risk management process, including risk verification and reporting.
Assist with administrative tasks.
U.S. Citizen with the ability to obtain and maintain a Public Trust security clearance.
Demonstrated proficiency with Microsoft Office, including strong Excel and knowledge of lookup formulas.
Strong analytical and organizational skills.
Basic understanding of government contract funding and billing process.
Ability to work in a dynamic team-oriented environment as well as independently.
Preferred Education and Experience:
