McKesson/Supplylogix is seeking an Account Manager in Westlake TX. We are looking for a results-oriented individual ensuring implementation success is a priority. Our goal is to ensure timely and successful delivery of our pharmacy solutions according to client expectations.
The Account Manager (AM) serves as the primary business contact for a select number of high profile. Candidate will use their pharmacy knowledge combined with communication skills and analytical abilities to shape how our existing business grows. Using your influencing and relationship building skill, you will uncovers business needs of high profiles accounts and help them understand how our range of products can help them attain their business goals. Working with these accounts this role acts an advisor and customer advocate while still balance internal resources and goals of Supplylogix. The candidate must be an independent thinker and problem solver in order to consistently provide unique opportunities for our clients. The AM must be adaptable to changes in customer demands. While not in sales, this position has potential to substantially affect the financial relationship between the company and a client.
Account manager should be considered a thought leader to clients and will work with them to create and maintain client inventory goals. The position also audits success of current services and is responsible for analyzing programs and making recommendations to increase program ROI. Tasks Include:
Identifying and driving the strategic vision and partnership between the client organization and Supplylogix, ensuring alignment in expectations for the product/service. Developing a shared vision for how the product will be used, proactively mitigating potential issues and driving practical recommendations. Creating client relationship strategy that defines business opportunities to pursue and strategies to focus on, engaging with implementation tasks. Account Manager is responsible for all aspects of implementation of customer or product from initiation to completion. Tasks Include:
Leading the project from initiation through delivery for internal/external partners including: identifying implementation tasks, assigning Directly Responsible Individuals (DRI), and product coaching/training. Monitoring project wellness and develops resolutions to meet schedule and customer objectives. Assessing project issues/risks and develops resolutions to meet productivity, quality, and client-satisfaction goals. Organizing and driving internal/external partners, ensuring milestone completion and timeline. Account Manager will have a deep understanding of Supplylogix products/services and customer value proposition. Tasks include:
Possessing broad understanding of development cycles, product road maps, & resource management. Overseeing customer business requirements, providing non-technical/technical support & direction. Managing internal resources to determine scope, size, scalability of any new feature/product, client request. Demonstrating ability to analyze and provide effective problem solving of “Business as Usual” requirements, assessing whether standard functionality can be used and identifying reasonable custom solutions where needed.QualificationsMinimum Requirements5+ years customer service experience
3+ years experience in pharmacy industry - clinical operations, supply chain, and/or technical experience Prior knowledge and exposure to projects as well as demonstrated leadership skills Ability to manage and produce results by motivating and influencing project/implementation teams and all stakeholders involved. Excellent follow through, strong attention to detail, with superior organizational and problem resolution skills. Ability to demonstrate thought leadership across multiple channels and become a trusted advisor to pharmacy executives and business decision makers. Adaptable to changes in work environment, work assignments, and/or changes in priorities. Motivated self-starter & ability to plan and execute with minimal supervision High level of initiative and ability to work well in a team environment Excellent written and oral communication skills. Ability to apply problem-solving and experience-based judgment to resolving complex challenges. Strong analytical, problem solving and multi-tasking skills to work across all levels. Proficient in MS Excel/PowerPoint.
Additional Knowledge & SkillsUnderstanding of complex sales cycles at strategic level Prior experience and/or exposure to pharmacy operations, retail or technology.
