Ministry Saint Clare's Hospital is looking for a motivated and patient-focused Registered Nurse to join their team in an Intermediate Care/Progressive Care environment! Our Progressive Care and Intermediate Care Units (IMC) are an adult full-service units which have higher acuity patients than normally seen on a Med/Surg floor. Our first floor is a Intermediate Care Unit which opened in the summer of 2013 and is increasing to a 24-bed unit due to demand. In this unit, we have quick patient turnover, which adds to our fast-paced environment. You will also see a multitude of cardiac patients, since cardiac is our specialty here at Ministry Saint Clare's Hospital.

As a Registered Nurse on this floor, you will: · Demonstrate commitment to the patient care model in order to achieve Saint Clare’s Nursing Vision. · Utilizes the Nursing Process to coordinate and achieve outcome-focused patient care. · Communicate effectively with patient/family, physicians, the interdependent team and other disciplines regarding plan of care. · Identify and document learning needs of the patient and family and provides individualized education. · Comply with regulatory requirements, patient safety requirements, infection control practices, and other established practice standards, policies and procedures. · Participate in the development and achievement of unit goals (Safety, cost, quality, satisfaction, and engagement). · Coordinate the interdependent team while promoting collaborative teamwork and cooperation. · Achieve customer service excellence by understanding the needs of all customers i.e. patients, families, and physicians.

This position will be scheduled for variable 12-hour shifts, including a mixture of 7am to 7pm and 7pm to 7am shifts, with an every third weekend and every other holiday rotation included.

Minimum Education Required : Graduate of an approved school of nursing is required.

Minimum Related Years of Experience ( per minimum education ) Required: One (1) year of nursing experience is preferred.

Credential/Licensure Required : Current WI RN license is required. BLS required, ACLS required within one year of hire. Job: Staff Registered Nurses
