Abbott Molecular Diagnostics (AMD) is looking for a Systems Specialist EMEA Service & Support based in Delkenheim.
Primary Job Function:
- Act as the Subject Matter Expert for Abbott Molecular instruments and systems in EMEA. This roles includes 2nd level support, technical training and project management aspects
Core Job Responsibilities:
Provide 2nd level remote and field service support to members of the EMEA Service & Support organization and Abbott Molecular customers
Design and provide instrument service training to Abbott Field Service Engineers, Service Engineers of 3rd party service providers and Application Specialists
Ensure full compliance to AMD Quality and Regulatory procedures with main focus on complaint handling and documentation
Manage Service and Support projects from evaluation to implementation with the objective to increase efficiencies and to provide best in class customer service and maximize customer satisfaction. Projects will target on field service strategies, databases and analysis tools as well as processes to optimize response time and resolution rate. Projects may include but are not limited to AbbottLink Proactive Monitoring, Service Sales strategies, the Abbott Molecular instrument refresh and redeployment program and maintenance of calibrated tools
Support Service and Commercial leaders by developing and providing reports on operational KPIs to optimize organizational setup and workflow
Bachelor’s Degree Electronic Engineering, Biomedical Engineering, Medical Technology or equivalent.
Minimum 5 years of experience in industry as Field Service Engineer or equivalent role with strong exposure to Customer Service Operations
Fluency in English including the ability to write reports, technical documentation and problem descriptions in English language
