Due to recent growth, our accounting team is currently seeking a qualified candidate for our Sr. Financial Analyst position.

Position Overview:

As part of VF Outdoor Coalition Accounting team, this position is responsible for financial reporting to senior finance management and to various external entities in accordance with required accounting standards and regulations. The Sr. Analyst is assigned to a combination of internal and external reporting and analysis responsibilities and financial accounting projects.

Principal Duties and Responsibilities:

  • Prepare reconciliation of assigned accounts.

  • Prepare requested analysis and reporting on assigned accounts.

  • Prepare and enter month end and year end closing journal entries; Prepare month end package and update financial reporting.

  • Review monthly coalition and brand department expenses.

  • Prepare, coordinate and distribute monthly consolidated reporting package to internal Outdoor Coalition management and VF Corporate.

  • Assist in entering and maintaining accurate coalition budget date in the general ledger, coordinating and tracking data to ensure all information is loaded accurately.

  • Assist in preparation of quarterly reporting presentations to VF Corporate.

  • Support Mexico team in various general activities.

  • Manage special projects and ad hoc reporting.

  • Support Internal Controls, develop process memorandums and work instructions, and participate in process improvement activities within the department.

Qualifications/Requirements:

  • Bachelor’s Degree in Accounting or Finance

  • 2- 4 years accounting experience

  • Excellent PC and technical systems skills; SAP experience helpful; Advanced proficiency in spreadsheet and database applications, preferably Microsoft Office, especially excel.

  • Consistent ability to set and accomplish goals.

  • Demonstrated analytical and problem solving skills.
